On the southern coast of Northern Ireland sits Greencastle Royal Castle. Built in the 1200s, it was a royal castle and maintained a garrison for the crown all the way until the 1500s. Robert the Bruce attacked and took the castle in 1316. In the background you can see the Republic of Ireland, the town of Carlingford and the peak of Slieve Foye.
